Neuromythography zones are the intermediate level of organization that we use in between higher-level Sectors and most granular-level Brain Areas.
The zone in neuromythography corresponds to:
- Prosomeres of the prosomeric model of the forebrain and hindbrain
- Subpallial domains, such as striatum and pallidum
- The cerebellum, which may be considered the cortex of the hindbrain
- Cortical regions, such as superior temporal lobe and ventrolateral prefrontal cortex
