Zones

Neuromythography zones are the intermediate level of organization that we use in between higher-level Sectors and most granular-level Brain Areas.

The zone in neuromythography corresponds to:

  • Prosomeres of the prosomeric model of the forebrain and hindbrain
  • Subpallial domains, such as striatum and pallidum
  • The cerebellum, which may be considered the cortex of the hindbrain
  • Cortical regions, such as superior temporal lobe and ventrolateral prefrontal cortex
